This week, for my weekly homeschool resource recommendation, I would like to share the following series of amazing books that are offered by Creation Ministries International. They would be a welcome addition to any homeschooler’s science curriculum, or simply as additional supplemental reading in the subjects that they cover! As of today – September 9, 2021 – this whole four-volume set is available for more than 40% off the retail price. Below is a description of the content of each of the individual books in this science series that is written from the perspective of a Biblical worldview.

Body By Design

160 pages, by Alan L. Gillen

Defines the basic anatomy and physiology in each of 11 body systems from a creationist viewpoint. Every chapter examines different organs and structures giving evidence for theistic design. Focus sections that highlight the interwoven complexity between the body systems are also included. Students are challenged to think through the evidence – the facts as we know them today – and to consider the statistical likelihood of macroevolution. The end result is an effective, interwoven presentation of anatomy, physiology, and creation.

Geology By Design

160 page, by Carl R. Froede, Jr.

Geologist Carl Froede peels back the layers of Biblical geology in this technical study of rock strata and the fossils found therein. He gives a solidly scientific rationale for believing in a young earth. This advanced guide is ideal for upper-level homeschool students, college students, or anyone wishing to explore this fascinating subject in depth. It includes questions for review at the end of each chapter. Froede defines a credible geological timeline and describes the creatures found in rock sediments around the world.

Flood By Design

144 pages, by Michael J. Oard

A thorough and educational exploration of the Genesis Flood’s effect on the earth’s surface. Discover if there really was a Flood on the scale described in the Bible – and what evidence there is for this global event. Oard gives an astounding answer to these questions and affirms the reality of the account of the Genesis geologic history. Delve into the land features that bear witness of receding Flood waters on a remarkable and unmistakable level.

Universe by Design

160 pages, by Danny Faulkner

Some astronomers look at the stars and planets through a telescope. Author Danny Faulkner views them through a Biblical perspective in this unique book. Universe by Design explores and explains the historical development of this science, including current ideas in the field, from a creationist standpoint.

I hope that this set of books may be both educational and enjoyable for you and your family, whether you incorporate it into your homeschool curriculum or simply want to learn more about God’s amazing design in creation.

May God bless you and your family, this day and always!

All for the King’s glory,
